"Shaker Woods Helping Hands were truly instrumental in the success of The Kevin Baird Music Festival. When we lost our son in May of 2025, we were devastated beyond words. Even in the middle of that grief, we knew we needed to do something to help his wife with her bills and give her the chance to move forward without added financial stress. When we reached out to Lana with nothing but a dream and a vision of creating a music festival in Kevin’s honor, she didn’t hesitate for a moment. She was 100% on board—and then she went above and beyond anything we could have imagined to help bring that dream to life. We cannot express what her support, and the support of everyone involved, meant to us and to our family. We will always be indebted to Rob and Lana, and to all the wonderful people of Shaker Woods Helping Hands, for what they did for us during the hardest time in our lives. We are already looking forward to next year’s festival, where we will be raising money for scholarships for students at East Palestine Schools—where Kevin graduated—and for diabetes research.
